We had a great time celebrating Eid Aladha away from the city and the traditional way. With the Kuwaiti Society in Cardiff, 5 families joined the trip to go to the countryside. We booked a cottage in a very nice beautiful place in west Wales for the weekend. The children loved it and also the adults. Women had fun with cooking, taking care of the little ones and playing sign game to guess famous Kuwaiti TV shows, while the men played bilyardo, had a good walk around the field and prepared a trip to the cost. There were some nice looking sheep, different type of birds and horses. The weather was very cold especially in the morning with the frost all over the field.
The cottage we had was a 5 star accommodation. It is a family business and I can tell that they are very nice people and they were looking after us with a very worm welcome from the first day. I do recommend it to a big family or a group to spend the time there in the very nice place and to have fun as we did.
